Navel orange has a blond pulp and it ripens from October to December, but it can also remain on the plant longer in order to increase its sugar content. Its peel is medium/fine-grained and its colour, depending on ripeness, varies from a soft yellow to a deep orange. Sicilian Navel oranges are among the best oranges around, thanks to the climatic conditions of our land, which make them unique.
They are very rich in pulp and juice, making them perfect for your orange juices. The typical characteristic of the Navel orange is the navel at the base. Our oranges are untreated and have an edible peel, which can be used to make desserts, jams and liqueurs! Our fruit is picked when it is ripe to ensure that you always get a fresh and genuine product. Oranges are fruits that can be stored for many days, up to 15-20 days, if kept in a cool place!
