The Vanilla orange is a rare variety of orange, difficult to find on the market. This sweet orange variety is characterised by its delicate, fragrant flavour and blond, seedless pulp. The Vanilla Orange is the only orange variety to have a very low acidity (acid-less 0.06 - 0.15%). For this reason, it is highly recommended for those with gastric, intestinal, and hepatic disorders. Not only that, it is also highly recommended for people suffering from diabetes, because it contains a very low amount of sugar.
Harvesting, which is done manually, takes place between December and April of the following year. All our citrus fruits have an edible peel and are harvested at the right ripeness to ensure a fresh and genuine product. Oranges are a fruit that can be stored for many days, up to 15-20 days, if kept in a cool place!
